RLWRLD K.K. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") builds the manipulation foundation model for industrial factory robots. Our primary users are factory automation engineers and manufacturing teams who access rlwrld.org to learn about our research, apply for early access to the RLWRLD model, and integrate the Python SDK or REST API into their robot cells. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle the personal information we collect in connection with those activities, in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information ("APPI").

1. Business Operator

RLWRLD K.K. (Hongo 2-40-17, 3F, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo 113-0033, Japan) is the personal information handling business operator with respect to personal information collected through rlwrld.org, under APPI. To contact us regarding your personal information: [email protected].

2. Categories of Personal Information We Handle

We handle the following categories of personal information:

• Contact form submissions: name, company or organization name, email address, inquiry type (Early Access / Research / Careers / Other), and free-text message, submitted by factory automation engineers or manufacturing teams via the contact form at rlwrld.org/contact.html.
• Early access portal credentials: email address submitted to apply for the pilot program; login credentials (password stored in hashed form) for authorized early access participants.
• Automatically collected technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and visit timestamps, received whenever you access rlwrld.org.
• API integration telemetry: inference request volume, response latency, and endpoint usage logs from authorized early access partners integrating the RLWRLD Python SDK or REST API into their robot cells.
• Correspondence content: the content of emails or inquiry messages you send to us.

Factory operational data, robot cell configurations, part geometry, and point cloud data submitted through the RLWRLD API to obtain model inference outputs are processed transiently within the lifecycle of each request. We do not retain such data as personal information and do not associate it with an identifiable individual.

3. Purposes of Use

We use personal information for the following purposes:

• Reviewing and processing applications for the RLWRLD early access pilot program.
• Managing early access portal accounts and API credentials for authorized manufacturing partners.
• Responding to research collaboration, career, and general inquiries submitted through rlwrld.org.
• Sending technical research updates, model release notes, and service announcements to registered early access partners (with opt-out available at any time by contacting [email protected]).
• Operating and improving rlwrld.org through anonymized usage analytics.
• Meeting our legal obligations under Japanese law and applicable regulations.

We will not use personal information beyond these declared purposes without your prior consent, in accordance with APPI Article 15.

4. Provision to Third Parties and Cross-Border Transfers

We provide personal information only to processors acting on our behalf, such as hosting infrastructure and analytics providers, under appropriate contractual supervision. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Where personal information is transferred to processors operating in foreign countries, we obtain prior consent from affected individuals where required and provide information about the recipient country's data protection regime, in accordance with APPI Article 28.

5. Your APPI Rights

As an individual whose personal information we handle, you have the following rights under APPI:

• Right to disclosure of retained personal data we hold about you.
• Right to correction, addition, or deletion of your retained personal data.
• Right to cessation of use or provision to third parties.
• Right to disclosure of records of any provision of your data to third parties.
