How We Work

What you can expect

We are a small team with high expectations of ourselves. These are the things that shape day-to-day work here.

Research with a deployment constraint

Every research direction we pursue has to run at the cell edge in under 100ms. That constraint shapes what we work on and forces intellectual honesty about what actually generalizes.

Factory floor access

Our team rotates through pilot partner facilities. You will spend time around actual robot cells, not just reading field reports. The gap between simulation and production is something you need to see to understand.

Decisions made close to the work

We do not have product managers translating between researchers and engineers. If you are the person who understands the tradeoff best, you make the call. That means being clear about what you do and do not know.

Publishing is expected

We publish at CoRL, ICRA, and related venues. Open science is not a PR strategy; it is how we stay honest about whether our ideas are working. Every major research thread ships a technical report or full paper.
